A Medical School (ICBAS) of Porto
University has a Medical Museum of
Human Anatomy that you can visit provided that you send an email to the director of the Anatomy Department.
It stands right next to the central gardens of downtown Porto, the so-called
Jardins do Palácio de Cristal (Crystal
Palace Gardens). The Medical School is in a white modern building that is located at the beginning of the street that runs on the left side of the Crystal Palace Gardens (“Rua Viterbo Ferreira”) . This location is about 1 km away from the iconic Church Tower of Clérigos of the city of Porto.
The Museum is part of the Anatomy Department
of the Biomedical School (ICBAS) of the University of Porto. For you to
visit the Museum (a free visit) please send an email to the director of
the Anatomy Museum (Prof. Artur Aguas) at either one of the following addresses:
